    Good Morning,

Just wondering your thoughts on the new Glamglow Omega rich face moisturizer.

-Chaga Mushroom: Helps soothe daily skin stress and protect against blue light exposure.
-Hyaluronic Acid: Moisturizes to instantly replenish depleted skin.

I think hemp/CBD/Cannabis products should be avoided during pregnancy. Here’s my reasoning:
There isn’t info out there on the safety of Cannabis used topically during pregnancy or nursing. We do know smoking marijuana with THC has bad effects and should be avoided, though it hasn’t been fully decided if it is just the THC or something else as well. Note Hemp does not have THC in it, it’s breed out of the plant basically (though there are hemp and CBD products that still test positive for THC). But there are still the unknowns we haven’t decided about. I would not recommend using Hemp or Cannabis products while nursing or pregnant for that reason.

Hi! Your website has been so helpful! I was wondering about glam glow supertoner is pregnancy safe. I’m leaning towards no because of the edta? But it’s phalates and paraben free. I would love your opinion! Here is the ingredient list.
Water\aqua\eau, alcohol denat, propanediol, mandelic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, tartaric acid, pyruvic acid, charcoal powder, eucalyptus globulus leaf powder, eucalyptus globulus leaf, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, algae extract, salix alba (willow) bark extract, nylon-12, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, fragrance (parfum), limonene, linalool, disodium edta, phenoxyethanol, mica, titanium dioxide (ci 77891), iron oxides (ci 77499).

I would avoid this due to all of the hydroxy acids (glycolic, salicylic, tartaric) as well as the salicylate (willow bark extract). EDTA, phalates and even parabens have enough evidence of safety that the medical community doesn’t recommend avoiding them.
