Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Kiehl’s

What skincare from Kiehl's is safe while pregnant?

Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. The list has gotten so large that I’ve decided to start listing brands in their own individual posts.

Here you’ll find every pregnancy safe skincare product from Kiehl’s as of 12/27/2017. I have reviewed every product. All of the products listed meet my pregnancy safe criteria. I link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

On my next review I will add every other product to the other categories so you’ll know why I didn’t consider them to be safe. But I have reviewed all of them, I just didn’t have room on my inclusive list of all products before to list all of them. I have reviewed all of them. Please stop being rude about why they aren’t listed here. The Kiehl’s post in particular has resulted in some rude comments (that I haven’t published). I have reviewed the entire line. I have listed everything that is safe. I don’t have time to re-review every product over and over, I’m sorry. I have a job, family and life. Please be respectful.

Please note, it can take up to an hour to review the ingredient lists of each product. I review with my own list of pregnancy safe criteria. I obtain my ingredient lists from the brands and major retailers (typically Nordstrom and Sephora), and I review the US versions. Please do not ask me to re-review the same products over and over, I do not have the time to do so, and many people have been rude about this. For more brands, please head over to the list of pregnancy safe products.

Ack! They changed it! On the Sephora site and others there’s no Salicylic Acid. My jar doesn’t have it on there (I bought it last winter), and the Kiehl’s site says “New Improved Formula” and that’s definitely a new ingredient. You’re right, it isn’t safe. I’ve moved it in the list above and added the note about the reformulation.

Does that means if the ultra facial cream I bought with no Salicylic acid listed in the ingredients, then it’s safe to use ? I got one bottle bought last spring and I already use it for a while 🙁

    Hello doctor!

I just bought Ultra Facial mosturizer and it has more ingredients then it had when you reviewed it – now it has Ethylhexyl Salicylate. Does it mean it has salicilic acid?

    Thank you!
