Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. You don’t need to worry about hair products, so don’t worry about your shampoo.
#1 and #3 have a salicylate, I would avoid them while pregnant but they’re ok for nursing.

Sometimes things undergo reformulations unfortunately, and the brands don’t announce these things.

Hello. The amount of anxiety you help ease with this website cannot be put into words. Thank you for doing this. This lotion I bought is different than the coconut one listed below. My only concern would be the parfum listed. The smell is not strong, but I wanted to be sure.

I’m so glad you’ve provided such a detailed list, I’m a little worried, I just found out I’m pregnant last week (around 9weeks gone) and I’ve been using alba products that are on the unsafe list every day as they’re part of my regular skin care routine, of course I will now cease using them, but could I of caused any lasting harm to my baby?
Regularly using the deep pore wash and the face and body scrub.

Hi! I have a question about the AcneDote Pimple Patches. I don’t see Salicylic Acid listed in the ingredients. I have these at home and have looked them up. This is all that I see:

They may have been reformulated in the last 2 years, but mine previously had salicylic acid in them for sure.

Hers were safe, the ones I have (well, had, I’m out now) were not. I would check your packaging carefully, or look at buying patches from Rael instead, they have a bunch of safe ones.
