Pregnancy Safe Products from Saint Jane

Pregnancy Safe Products from Saint Jane

Pregnancy safe beauty products can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products.

Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from Saint Jane as of 3/19/2023. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

Don’t See Your Product? Read This Before You Ask About It…

Please read the Pregnancy Beauty Guide intro first, where you will learn which products you actually need to worry about (spoiler alert, you don’t need to worry about all makeup or hair products). I will not review products that fall into the “don’t worry about it” categories. If you want to ask about a specific product, I require that you follow these guidelines for asking about pregnancy/nursing safety. You can also learn more about how to use these pregnancy safety lists. I will delete questions that don’t follow the guidelines or are rude.

    Hi!
I’m wondering if you can help. I see the luxury skin ritual pore smoothing spf 30 sunscreen is safe here.

When I use my app little bean it picks up a BHA/salicylic but I can’t for the life of me figure out which ingredient is making it say this. I’ve learned from you in some products there can be BHAs that are okay.

Here is the list/ can you please identify what they might be picking up? Thank you:)

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide – 10% Inactive Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Sorbitan Olivate, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Adenium Obesum (Desert Rose) Extract, Cetearyl Glucoside, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Iron Oxides

It’s likely picking it up as in one of the extracts, but there are very few extracts that have enough of something to the extent that you need to avoid it. I think it’s fine.

Aww that’s too bad. Another one to avoid. Odd they call it “broad spectrum”?
