Pregnancy Safe Skincare from AmorePacific

Pregnancy Safe Skincare from AmorePacific

Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. The list has gotten so large that I’ve decided to start listing brands in their own individual posts.

Here you’ll find every skincare product (that I reviewed) from AmorePacific. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria as of 2/12/2021. If they release a new product that is not listed here, please comment below and I will add it. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

Yes, Caffeine is fine. Many OBs say it is ok as long as consumed in moderation and the amount in skin care is much less than in beverages.

    Hi!
I want to use the Amore Pacific vintage extract essence. However, since its key ingredient is green tea extract and I am trying to conceive, I was wondering if green tea extract would affect fertility in a bad way.

    thank you !

    • 6.14.19
      15mins said:

It’s safe for pregnancy but I don’t know anything about affecting fertility and ability to conceive. I would talk to your OB about that specifically.

I’m confused, you’re saying glycolic acid isn’t safe for pregnancy but I’ve read many websites saying it is approved for pregnancy. I’m not sure which of you is right???

    • 12.8.19
      15mins said:

It’s not universally accepted as safe. If applied topically at least 28% is absorbed and we don’t really have safety data. I’m pretty conservative in my recommendations. If you’re comfortable with glycolic acid it’s easy to tell if that’s the only ingredient I was worried about as I list every “problem” ingredient in my lists, so you could still use those.
