Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Son & Park

Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Son & Park
Pregnancy safe beauty products can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products.

Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from Son & Park as of 9/6/2024 If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

Unfortunately, since my last review the ingredients were removed from the Son & Park website. I did locate ingredients for only their cult favorite Beauty Water, but none of the other products had lists available at retailers that I trust.

Yes, I still answer questions about product safety! You must follow these guidelines. Any rude comments or those not following the guidelines will be removed. This means full product name, ingredient list, and each product must either be on the proper brand page or the brand list page. I won't accept comments in the wrong spot.

You can check the pregnancy beauty FAQ for many answers. Also check out which makeup and hair products I think you should worry about. Additional info about: perfume, nail polish and sunless tanners

Hi there! I was going to purchase the Beauty Water, but I noticed on the Sephora website that it states it has willow bark. “…while willow bark and papaya extract sweep away dead skin cells—revealing a brighter skin tone and smoother texture.” I don’t see it listed in the ingredients though. Would you still consider it safe? This site has been soo helpful. Thanks for your time!!

Water, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Pentylene Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Xylitol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Water, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit/Seed Oil, Artemisia Absinthium Extract, Rose Flower Oil, Ferula Galbaniflua (Galbanum) Resin Oil, Thuja Occidentalis Leaf Extract, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract , Mentha Piperita(Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Mentha Rotundifolia Leaf Extract, Mentha Spicata Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract, Origanum Vulgare Leaf Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Sodium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Octanediol, Copaifera Officinalis (Balsam Copaiba) Resin, Protease, Alcohol Denat., Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol.

I don’t see it either, the willow bark we worry about is a Salix Alba. This looks ok to me! Let me know if you like it, I’ve been wanting to try it!

Also, these aren’t the ingredients on the brand’s website (those make it only safe for nursing), where did you get these ingredients?

        Liz said:

Actually no I got those ingredients from the site of a local skin care store. But you’re right it does not match the ingredients from the Son & Park site. Thanks so much for your due diligence! Can’t say enough how helpful this site has been!!!

I just went through the Son and Park site after your comment and updated the list above. It’s so hard when we’re at the mercy of the online lists being correct!
