Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Jane Iredale

Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Jane Iredale

Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. The list has gotten so large that I’ve decided to start listing brands in their own individual posts.

Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from Jane Iredale as of 11/21/2021. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. If they release a new product that is not listed here, please comment below and I will add it. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

They’re fine, but this looks like a powder, which you don’t need to worry about. They sit on the surface of the skin.

Do you know if this is a newly added ingredient? I used this BB cream during my first pregnancy 3 years ago and could have sworn it used to be on your pregnancy safe list. Also, what articles/research are you seeing online stating that this ingredient is unsafe in pregnancy? Not doubting you at all just want to learn and be aware myself!

            Christine said:

When refreshing the lists I start fresh, so I’m not swayed by what was/wasn’t in the formula before, I don’t know if they reformulated but it seems likely. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here with discussion on each: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy. Stem cells are a pretty soft call truthfully, but I don’t feel comfortable saying they’re safe.
