Hi, all that I can find online that’s medically reviewed steers us away from castor oil during pregnancy. Is there any data on topical use while pregnant? Thanks!
No info on topical use, but it’s a VERY different level of exposure and isn’t thought to really be absorbed. You need to ingest a pretty large amount to have it have issues with pregnancy, so the very small amount topically is felt to be ok.
