Thanks so much for this! Most of the products recommended for me are safe in pregnancy, although I am a bit peeved that 2 facialists have told me clear shield is ok and then seen it has salicylate in it! I need to find a new spf.
I think estheticians don’t have training in what to avoid. My OB was very clear (and as a pediatrician I agree) that salicylates should be avoided.
Yes, I’d definitely rather be as safe as possible, just feel bad I used in my last pregnancy and up to 13 weeks of this one. But I know I try my best to use pregnancy safe products. I’ve seen the comment above and will give the moisture matte a try. Thanks for your work 😊
Hey, is the acne clarifying cleanser okay to use since it has less than 2% of salicylic acid in there? I read that if it’s less than 2% it’s okay. Please confirm. Thankyou!!
No, there’s no evidence to support it, the 2% is because every over the counter has <2% salicylic acid, in the US that's the threshold between over the counter and prescription.

Arnica: Extracted from the flower heads of the arnica montana plant, arnica has soothing properties.
