I recommend avoiding all Cannabis products during pregnancy, here’s my little blurb on it:
There isn’t info out there on the safety of Cannabis used topically during pregnancy or nursing. We do know smoking marijuana with THC has bad effects and should be avoided, though it hasn’t been fully decided if it is just the THC or something else as well. Note Hemp does not have THC in it, it’s breed out of the plant basically (though occasionally there are some hemps that will still test positive for THC, they sometimes still make very small amounts). But there are still the unknowns we haven’t decided about. I would not recommend using Hemp or Cannabis products while nursing or pregnant for that reason.
Hi, I don’t see salicylic acid in the ingredients for the Dew It eye cream. In Sephora’s site it says it’s a ‘clean’ product’. Am I missing something
I don’t see it listed now either, though it was before. It may have been a mistake on the website (listing it or not listing it), or a reformulation. If these are the ingredients currently it looks fine, but I would check on the packaging to be sure before using it.

Everything in the actual ingredients list is there as required by the FDA. The call out of “key” ingredients by Sephora is just a marketing thing

I don’t see this ingredient list on Sephora nor at their website and cannot find the Malic acid you are talking about. And the ingredient list is not that long. Could it be that they changed the sunscreen in total?
Your IP address indicates you’re in Croatia, so that may be part of it as frequently brands have different versions for the EU and US (about 90% of my readers are in the US like I am). The US sites for Farmacy and Sephora now say NEW all over the place, and no malic acid (so likely a reformulation), but now there’s gluconolactone so still ok for nursing but not pregnancy.

I know the 10% Niacinamide Night Mask is listed as safe to use, but I have a couple of questions about the general use of some of the listed ingredients.
1) Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter – Shea butter seems to be a pretty prevalent ingredient in pregnancy related products like stretch mark creams so I assume it’s definitely safe to use. However, it’s also rich in Vitamin A. Is this similar to rosehip oil where it’s actually considered ok for pregnancy even though it is high in Vitamin A?
2) Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Flower/Leaf Extract Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract – I’ve read that Basil essential oil should be avoided in pregnancy. However, some of the sources I’ve found don’t seem to have a lot of medical/scientific backing. Have you heard anything related to pregnant women needing to avoid?

Lots of things are rich in natural vitamin A, but it’s really the retinoid family that we worry about and when it’s added as it’s own chemical.
Basil is one of those things that has almost no evidence to back it up. Rosemary is similar. We don’t say you should avoid eating it, which is a much bigger exposure than a little bit in a cream.
