Yes, I still answer questions about product safety! You must follow these guidelines. Any rude comments or those not following the guidelines will be removed. This means full product name, ingredient list, and each product must either be on the proper brand page or the brand list page. I won't accept comments in the wrong spot.

You can check the pregnancy beauty FAQ for many answers. Also check out which makeup and hair products I think you should worry about. Additional info about: perfume, nail polish and sunless tanners

Good morning! I want to first of all thank you for your countless hours and time you have put into this website. As a woman going through IVF and am trying to put my best foot forward to increase my chances of a successful embryo transfer, the information you have on your page has been immeasurably helpful and has put my anxious and hormone crazy mind at easy! I also want to let you know that I am so sorry for human kind for being rude in any exchanges they’ve had with you. That’s so disheartening, as you are doing this as a community service and out of the goodness of your heart to help us ladies out.

I have a question regarding the Becca Soft Light Blurring pink powder. I am concerned about a few of the ingredients that are present in this product and would be forever indebted to you if you could take a look and tell me what you think! I also use Lumify eye drops that whiten your eyes…which after reading your info on whitening products I think I’ll stop using them from now on.

The ingredients in the Becca blurring powder (from the boxycharm website that I purchased it from) are: Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Mica, Boron Nitride, Silica, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Hexylene Glycol, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Sodium Potassium Aluminum Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Tin Oxide, CI 77491/77492/77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

If you’re curious about the Lumify eye drops, the ingredients are: Active ingredient Brimonidine tartrate (0.025%) … redness reliever

Inactive ingredients Benzalkonium chloride, boric acid, calcium chloride dihydrate, glycerin, potassium chloride, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injection. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may be used to adjust pH.
The website for the drops is: https://www.lumifydrops.com/discover

Thank you again for your time!!! I appreciate you so much!!! 🙂

I don’t see anything of concern in the powder, and that isn’t even taking into account that it’s a powder and sits on the surface of the skin and doesn’t get absorbed.
I don’t comment on meds like the lumify, I would discuss directly with your doctor. I will say they’re purely cosmetic and not at all to improve health or function of your eyes, so I would just stop using them myself.
