Pregnancy safe beauty products can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products.
Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from Glowbiotics as of 3/12/2023. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.
Don’t See Your Product? Read This Before You Ask About It…
Please read the Pregnancy Beauty Guide intro first, where you will learn which products you actually need to worry about (spoiler alert, you don’t need to worry about all makeup or hair products). I will not review products that fall into the “don’t worry about it” categories. If you want to ask about a specific product, I require that you follow these guidelines for asking about pregnancy/nursing safety. You can also learn more about how to use these pregnancy safety lists. I will delete questions that don’t follow the guidelines or are rude.

I’m confused about the PROBIOTIC ACNE TREATMENT CLEANSER 16 OZ. You list the product as safe for pregnancy & nursing, but in your product link the description says one of the key ingredients is “2% Salicylic Acid”. I thought Salicylic Acid isn’t ok for pregnancy. So should I avoid this product during pregnancy bc it has Salicylic Acid?
Full ingredient list
Water/Aqua/Eau, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Glycerin, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Methylisothiazolinone, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Bisabolol, Zingiber Officianale (Ginger) Root Extract, Rice/Saccharomyces Lyce/Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate Filtrate, Oat (Avena Sativa) Kernel Extract, Disodium EDTA, Beta-Glucan, Eucalyptus Globulus Oil, Xanthan Gum, Menthol, Myristoyl Tetrapeptde-13, Acetyl Carboxymethyl Cocoyl Glycine, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.
PS: Huge fan. Using this website again for my 2nd bb 🙂
The problem is that the brand’s key ingredients are actually wrong on some of their products (so I actually don’t even pay attention to key ingredients). It isn’t listed in the full ingredients at all. So I don’t think the salicylic acid is in the product based on the info on their website. You’re right that I advise to avoid salicylic acid, but based on the info here I don’t think it’s in the cleanser.
