It’s basically a mascara product, which is a film former that you don’t need to worry about. It’s fine for pregnancy and nursing, but I think you’re overthinking it.
Hi! I have been using Covergirl Outlast All Day Ultimate Finish 3 in 1 for over half of my pregnancy because I didn’t think to look up if it could be harmful. I’m super nervous now that I caused some sort of harm to my baby. Can you please tell me how terrible this is or could be? Is it not safe to continue using? You list CoverGirl Clean Liquid Foundation as being okay for pregnancy and nursing; however, it contains propylparaben and methylparaben. Is that right?
Below site says it is NOT paraben free. Can you please clarify?

You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. Parabens are NOT considered ingredients to avoid by the medical community, the actual evidence doesn’t support this. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy

Hi Doctor, I saw on your “Pregnancy Safe Facial Sunscreens, BB and CC Creams”
page that the CoverGirl Clean Matte BB Cream is considered a safe option for pregnancy. The ingredient list doesn’t seem to have any physical sunscreen in it, other than “May Contain: Titanium Dioxide”. I am wondering if this is just a regular BB cream that doesn’t have spf?
