Pregnancy safe beauty products can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. The list has gotten so large that I’ve decided to start listing brands in their own individual posts.
Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from FaceTheory as of 7/31/2021. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. If they release a new product that is not listed here, please comment below and I will add it. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.
Don’t See Your Product? Read This Before You Ask About It…
Please read the Pregnancy Beauty Guide intro first, where you will learn which products you actually need to worry about (spoiler alert, you don’t need to worry about all makeup or hair products). I will not review products that fall into the “don’t worry about it” categories. If you want to ask about a specific product, I require that you follow these guidelines for asking about pregnancy/nursing safety. You can also learn more about how to use these pregnancy safety lists. I will delete questions that don’t follow the guidelines or are rude.

Hi,
Your website is amazing and so helpful!
I just wanted to double check the Polypeptide Collagen Boosting Serum S8 (it’s on the safe list). Here are the ingredients from the UK website:
Aqua, Propanediol, Gluconolactone, Urea, Glycerin, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Dextran, Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3, Sodium Phytate, Lactobionic Acid, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate
Do these ingredients look okay and is gluconolactone safe to use in pregnancy and nursing?
Thanks,
Lisa
I think they redid it! The US website says NEW on it now, and has the same ingredients as the UK. It’s Ok for nursing but not pregnancy due to the gluconolactone, thanks for noticing that.
Thanks so much for getting back to me, I’ll save that product for after pregnancy.
Thanks again for providing so much helpful info on your website!

Hello, I purchased Regena C20 Serum 20% after seeing it was on your pregnancy safe list. When I received the box, I noticed it says, “if pregnant, consult your doctor before use.” Just wanted to double check this product is pregnancy safe. Ingredients listed on the website are as follows:
Propanediol, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Olive Oil Polyglyceryl-4 Esters, Dibutyl Lauroyl Glutamide, Dibutyl Ethylhexanoyl Glutamide, Ferulic Acid.
Thanks for confirming.
Those ingredients are fine.
this discussion will help: Why does X Brand say this product is safe but you don’t think it is safe? (or Vice Versa)
