Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Tata Harper

Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Tata Harper

Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products. The list has gotten so large that I’ve decided to start listing brands in their own individual posts.

Here you’ll find every pregnancy safe skincare product from Tata Harper as of 8/5/2021. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. If they release a new product that is not listed here, please comment below and I will add it. Note I will link to every product directly to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

2/19/2020 There were quite a few products reformulated I think. I have just reviewed the entire brand again, but please check your packaging. The only ingredient to be concerned about is Willow Bark (Salix Alba), which I recommend avoiding during pregnancy.

How to Request a Product Review

I try to review all of the products that I can when I publish a list. Note, I am in the US and I only have access to US products. Please don’t be rude if I skipped your favorite cleanser, when items are out of stock sometimes they aren’t on the brand’s site, or maybe you are in Asia and I am in the US.

I reserve the comments on each post for reviews of product from that brand, this makes it easier for others to find products later. Please only ask about Tata Harper on this post, I will delete other product questions. You can find other brands here. If your brand is not included, please ask on the brand list post.

Willow Bark isn’t considered either an alternative to Vitamin A derivatives or safe in pregnancy. It’s high in natural salicylates (the same family as aspirin) and typically is considered the natural alternative to salicylic acid. However, many physicians consider it as a salicylate and recommend avoidance in pregnancy.

Hello, i have done research on Tata Harper superkind skin care line. at first I was happy and relieved to find a company that seems pregnancy safe however, their first ingredient is Calendula. After having done the research, everything is pointing toward “Not Safe”.

i am wondering why then Tata Harper would advertise this line to be “pregnancy safe”. is it a “Safe amount”? Please if I can have clarification. it seems nothing out there is safe besides coconut oil.

You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. It’s not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy.
