Pregnancy Safe Skincare from BioElements

Pregnancy Safe Skincare from BioElements

Pregnancy safe skincare can be super difficult and confusing. I have an entire guide devoted to what products are safe to use while pregnant including information on what ingredients to avoid while pregnant and a huge list of pregnancy safe skincare products.

Here you’ll find pregnancy safe products from BioElements as of 11/27/2022. If it is not safe, I’ll tell you why. All of the products meet my pregnancy safe criteria. Note I will link to every product directly on DermStore to avoid confusion. You’ll know exactly which product I mean.

Yes, I still answer questions about product safety! You must follow these guidelines. Any rude comments or those not following the guidelines will be removed. This means full product name, ingredient list, and each product must either be on the proper brand page or the brand list page. I won't accept comments in the wrong spot.

You can check the pregnancy beauty FAQ for many answers. Also check out which makeup and hair products I think you should worry about. Additional info about: perfume, nail polish and sunless tanners

Hello I noticed that oil control sleepwear is in your safe products but it contains retinol. Can you explain why it’s considered safe with this ingredient? Thank you.

I think that’s a reformulation, because it was NOT there when I reviewed this product before (I had used this while pregnant myself, I know it was previously safe). Thanks for catching it! I’ve moved it to the correct area and I’ll re-review the products when I have a chance in the next day or two.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate this list! I’m looking to order the probiotic anti aging serum and the equalizer will you be changing the pregnancy safe as of date in your intro after you re-review the products? I’ve looked at the ingredients myself and they seem ok but I would rather wait for you to do your re-review of the list just to be safe before I order them. Again thank you for putting this list together I’ve been using it for my makeup as well and it really makes navigating the sephora website much easier! 🙂

Hey there! Bioelements makes some of my fave products and I’ve been using Age Activist Clinical Youth Serum forever before I got pregnant I stopped using it due to the retinol but noticed it’s on your ok for nursing list? Is it safe to use after delivery? I just want to make sure because I see a bunch of stuff listed in the not safe for nursing section due to retinol/retinoid so I just want to be extra sure! Thanks so much!!!

I just redid this list (last week? I don’t remember) but when I do it, it’s a confusion of html on my view. That’s meant to go under ok for pregnancy, only ok for nursing if you’re conservative. There’s a little blurb there explaining. It’s really up to you, I did use retinoids while nursing.
