Rather than being the typical petroleum based lip treatment, this one is much more like a cream. It is white and thick with minimal smell or taste. It is meant to be applied to the “O-Zone”, meaning your lips and the surrounding areas. It sinks in immediately into the skin (just like a lotion) though it does stick around for about 10 minutes or so on your lips. Ultimately it does sink in however, unlike most lip balms/treatments.
Somehow when it goes into lips it really does seem to just infuse lips with moisture, and I swear when my lips were cracked and dry recently a few applications of Total Lip Treatment and I was good as new! I have taken to applying it at night and then following up with a petroleum based lip balm (my all time favorite, Kiehl’s #1) to help seal it into my lips.
