I’m a sucker for pumpkin, though not pumpkin spice lattes, I admit that the flavor feels wrong in a coffee. But pumpkin is one of my favorite scents for beauty products. I want to stock up on this mask, because it is the best pumpkin face mask ever. I’m not even joking.
The Skin Saint Pumpkin Perfection Mask isn’t a traditional mask. Sure, it has kaolin clay to soak up oil and impurities from your pores. There are also jojoba beads which melt and add needed moisture to the skin.
Rather than applying Pumpkin Perfection Mask and letting it dry on your skin, you apply it to a dry face and gently massage the mask around. It feels creamy and there are soft jojoba beads that quickly start to melt, they aren’t sharp and are rather pleasant. The mask smells amazing, just the perfect pumpkin spice scent that isn’t overwhelming but that you can still smell. As you massage around the mask it heats up, melting those jojoba beads and just generally feeling amazing. After about 2-3 minutes the mask cools down, and then you should wet your fingertips and massage the mask again. The water makes the mask heat up a second time. Afterwards you should wash off the mask, I find it does need a cleanser and washcloth to fully remove.
I love that the Pumpkin Perfection Mask only takes a few minutes, and the results are immediate. It does a little gentle exfoliation, my skin feels softer and smoother. It is perfect for the days that you want a little extra glow from a mask but don’t necessarily want to go through waiting for a mask to dry on your face. I’ve found myself packing it in my on call bag for the hospital, it’s quickly become my favorite quick and easy pampering treatment!
