Orlane Poudre Libre, Because Every Girl Needs A Splurge Worthy Transparent Loose Powder

Orlane Loose Powder

I admit that I’m usually a drugstore beauty girl. But on occasion I’ll splurge (like my recent YSL foundation and pressed powder purchase), and having high end beauty products can be a bit addicting. There’s something about having the last step of your makeup be a high end product that somehow makes me feel super pampered.

That’s where Orlane’s Transparent Loose Powder comes in. This powder comes from a brand usually known for their high end skin care. The loose powder comes only in one shade, and it’s great for my skin tone. I’m not certain if it would work for darker complexions, what it looks like in the canister is really close to my skin. It comes with a large velvet puff that sits inside of the container. A little shake and just the right amount of powder is on the puff.

The powder is very, very finely ground. I typically pat it gently onto my face, occasionally I’ll grab a kabuki brush to blend it in (who wants to pull an Angelina Jolie?), but that really is only needed when I put too much in one spot. The powder is invisible on my skin. It gives me a semi-matte finish and keeps my combination skin shine free all day.

You can buy the Orlane Poudre Libre at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, or Amazon.
