New Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum Review

Now that winter has been in full force for a while, I have to admit that even my most hydrating of routines has been defeated by the weather. My hands are dry, my legs itch if I don’t moisturize every 12 hours, and I know that soon my eczema will be flaring!

So, I’ve been in search of a new super hydrating moisturizer. The new Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum is all over stores, and it is not a regular lotion.

It has 3 important ingredients:
PPAR Activators: Ingredients that go into skin cells and turn on genes to help heal the skin
Elastomers: Special polymers that make the product feel silky
Vaseline Jelly: Super hydrating! To help keep your skin feeling smooth (and not greasy), the product has micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly. You’ll get the benefits without the greasy feeling.

These work together to help your skin heal and hydrate faster. Vaseline says that it “moisturizes to visibly heal dry skin by 10X over time”.

There are 3 versions:
Advances Relief: moisturizes to heal and calm severely dry skin
Radiance Restore: moisturizes to heal and restore radiance to dry, dull skin
Deep Repair: Deeply moisturizes to heal rough cracked skin

I have both Deep Repair and Advance Relief, Vaseline sent them to me to try out. They came wrapped up with some cute cookies (though mine were a bit smooshed and not cute for a pic) My friend Genia (from Geniabeme) posted this cute picture on Instagram!

I’ve been using the lotion for a few weeks, mostly right after I wash my hands and as I get out of the shower, so the Vaseline Jelly micro-droplets can really seal the moisture into my skin. I love that it feels great on my skin! It really feels amazing, but it doesn’t feel greasy at all. It really does help to hydrate my skin, making my itchy winter skin feel much better!

You can find the new Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serums at food drug and mass retailers nationwide for $7.99.
