In reply to Julia. Yes, I wouldn't worry about anything that you're not applying right at the roots/scalp, it does make things so much easier! (And I think most hair sprays have salicylate, so it would be really hard to find one that's safe otherwise!) Personally the sprays I do hold my breath, spray and then step at least 5 feet away. But I always do that, sometimes my asthma gets triggered otherwise.

In reply to Christine. Oh thank you! Thats good to know, I get so confused with even the products that don't go directly on the scalp. Even looking into hairsprays, I've seen ingredients like Benzyl Salicylate so it's a bit confusing but thank you so much again! I have been on this site for months looking into safe products! Such a life saver!

Remember that you don’t need to screen hair products that aren’t applied directly to your scalp/roots.
