Would licorice root extract be safe to use topically while nursing?

I can’t find anything in the medical literature on safety regarding these ingredients (note that is true for pretty much every ingredient). I can’t speak for contamination issues.

Not contraindicated in pregnancy. Formaldehyde is even made naturally by your body…

I might have commented on the wrong spot before so I am reposting here. I was hoping you could speak more on the below ingredients and their safety. I have heard that some of them can be contaminated with other harmful ingredients? Just want to be extra safe!!

-Phenoxyethanol (have read this can be harmful to baby and is banned in some countries skincare)
-Acrylates copolymer (possible contamination of methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate)
-Laureth -7 (possible contamination of ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane)

Thank you so much!

No, again even the sugars used as sunless tanners are implicated in the liver issues. This product has the regular sunless tanning ingredient Dihydroxyacetone anyways.

I likely wouldn’t apply large amounts to the skin, but a little that gets on the skin from your lashes is likely ok

I just wanted to know if Organic Cold Pressed Castor oil (Ricinus Communis) is safe to use on my skin and eye lashes during pregnancy. I have ZERO intentions of injesting, only topical use. Thank you!
