It means it is in the salicylate family, which is also something to avoid, though within a fragrance (previously that was always just "fragrance" and not something I screened out based on discussions with many other physicians, the feeling is that it's such a tiny amount and also formulated to evaporate to give off the scent). But I would have screened that out if it had been that way when I reviewed, so they likely changed the formulation or started disclosing what's in their fragrance. It's up to you how comfortable you feel with it.

Hello! i have been using this shampoo
ATTITUDE SUPER LEAVES NOURISHING SHAMPOO and i noticed they have Salicylate in it but at the bottom it says with an * parfum. does that mean it’s not exactly Salicylate acid? thank you!
