Discussion on those is here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy This discussion will help: Why does X Brand say this product is safe but you don't think it is safe? (or Vice Versa) Something to think about: did your aesthetician get training in pregnancy and fetal physiology? No. I would listen somewhat to your dermatologist (though they also don't get that training), but OB and peds do.

Hi, firstly thank you for compiling these lists for us, you are so incredibly thorough. I have a question about iS clinicals. I see that on your list you’ve listed their eye serum, moisturizing complex and cleansing complex as unsafe for pregnancy or nursing. I know you’ve provided us a lot of information on various parts of your website, and I’ve tried to gather what I can but I’m still having a hard time understanding, do you mind summarizing why these 3 aren’t safe? Their website claims that all their products are pregancy safe. I just feel so confused right now. I used to use the gentle cleanser from the ZO line and the Ultra Nourishing moisturizer from the Alastin line, but at the derm office I go to, the aestheticians recommended I switch to these iS clinicals products (youth eye serum, moisturizing complex and cleaning complex) as they have been told they are guaranteed safe in pregnancy. But your research shows me that the ZO gentle cleanser and Alastin Ultra Nourishing Moisturizer is safe. I feel so confused.
