I fully admit to being intimidated by any hair styling tool more complicated than a curling iron. Or hot roller. Because I do actually really love me some hot rollers.
Anyways, you've probably noticed that over the past year or so, there have been a lot of new heated wandish things showing up in the hair tools area of your local salons and stores. Some of them look crazy. Seriously, how can some of these things create pretty hair? While they first seemed like a big investment (some of these double barreled things can easily run over $200), the good news is that they're pretty affordable now since Conair has started to release their versions as well. I thought we'd take a quick peek today at the You Curl and You Wrap and Wave, both from Conair.
I've had a lot of questions lately from readers regarding my favorite products. I was already thinking about updating my Everyday Favorites, but my cousin Ellery from Mom's Life Made Easy was the one whose email finally pushed me to do it. Anyways....
I've added a little button in the right column that will link to the latest Everyday Favorites post and I'm going to finally make an effort to update this list every few months. I feel compelled to create graphics for things. This one is a bit boring... Hmm....
Here are the products I've been reaching for in between product testings! If a product category isn't mentioned, that means I might not have a strong preference for one item over another. I've linked to my review or the product on-line whenever possible. Note that some of these products I may have received as a sample at some point, but these are things I've purchased myself when I've run out.
I've been timing myself during my morning routine quite a bit over the last week or so. Why? This new blow dryer is why.
This orange thing you see before you is Conair's latest Infiniti Pro dryer. I'm sure you are thinking to yourself, "Self, do I care about yet another Conair blow dryer? Don't they just change the color or the controls every few months? Do I care that it is orange now?"
So, the reason that I'm writing about this isn't because the Infiniti Pro is now Orange. I was pretty happy with my previous grey model.
