Pregnancy Safe Sunscreens

Full Spectrum Pregnancy Safe Sunscreens

One of the hardest to find products in pregnancy safe skincare is sunscreen. Today I’m sharing the results of an exhaustive search for pregnancy safe sunscreens. All of these sunscreens are physical sunscreens, with Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide. Learn more about full spectrum UV coverage here, pregnancy safe facial sunscreens are here.

I know this list will be helpful to many of my readers. If you have tried any of these products, let me know how you liked it in the comments below. Hi! Thanks a lot for this article! I was wondering why did you leave out from the pregancy safe sunscreens the one from La Roche Antihelios mineral sunscreen? I see you mention it in another article (8 Full Spectrum Facial Sunscreens) but not on the safe pregancy ones. Is there an ingredient unsafe for pregnancy in it

    Thanks in advance

Typically they have the active ingredients in a separate area (as they’re considered over the counter drugs) you want to see only zinc and titanium listed there. This list is more complicated as it isn’t separated out (which is actually against the FDA’s labelling guideline), and a more atypical chemical name was used, in this case it was the Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate.
