The #1 At Home Skincare Treatment Your Esthetician Recommends…

esthetician's favorite skin care

Today, Caterina Marra-Vazquez, Esthetician and Brand Manager at Tribeca Beauty Spa, is answering the one question that will change your skin for the better. And in one day.

What product do you recommend to clients over and over? Why do you love it so much?

I love peels…peels work magic. They keep your skin in check! I recommend peels every month, if you can’t do that then purchase an at home peel (it’s at a lower strength) and use it every week. Make sure the strength is 10% or higher.

Peels get rid of all those extra dead skin cells just sitting on top of your face. Once the peel breaks down the “glue” that is holding those dead cells on your face, you skin breathes better, is able to penetrate active ingredients better as well as able to accept moisturizers better. I can’t tell you how many clients I treated with dry skin who couldn’t understand why their creams weren’t working. You have to get those dead skin cells off!

Glycolic is always good- I love lactic as it less irritating however both are good, especially at that level. 🙂
