So, this is one of those posts that I fully admit I've thought my review was done and published for a while. And I *just* found an unpublished draft in my posts area, on Sunday night. Oops!

If you have someone you need to buy a last minute present for, like a friend or coworker, this is a good choice. I should know, I've been using these liners for the last 6 weeks or so, when Anastasia sent them to me.

Yes, there are a few other eye liner sets out there this holiday season (Urban Decay, Stila to name a few), and I do like those liner sets as well. I'm a liner girl, I love a good liner. And of the sets out there, I do think that this is probably the most neutral and crowd pleasing of the bunch.

Even the most "out there" color, Azure, is pretty dark and easy to pull off even in a very conservative look. This is a great choice for someone that doesn't break out of the mold often or is the girl you never see without liner, all the basics are here.

The pencils are automatic, so you never need to sharpen them. The liners are well pigmented and just soft enough to smudge easily, but once they "set", they won't budge. You won't rub your eye and get a fingertip full of liner. And while they're waterproof, I don't find them hard to remove with a regular eye makeup remover.

My fave of the bunch is gilded, a dark brown with some metallic shimmer.
