Hi Christine. I just wanted to say to your readers that if you have not tried these brushes, you should! I bought two a while back. I put one in my travel bag and put the other one in a drawer and kind of forgot about them. Then one day, I was trying to remove cat hair off of my dining room chairs. I have a solid black Maine Coon and that long thick hair sticks to everything. I remembered these brushes and thought hmmm....so the experiment began. I took the brush to my dining room chairs which are covered in a cream colored fabric on the seat. They also just happen to be her favorite place to nap and she changes chairs constantly so they are equally covered in hair. These brushes pulled that hair out of those chairs like no one's business. Every bit of it. And the hair came out of the brush so easily, it was like magic. I got so excited I moved on to other fabric areas of the house. The blanket and comforter on our bed; I have no words to express how well this brush just yanked that hair out of the bedding. I then moved to the closet. We also have a calico so anything dark gets covered in her white hair. Since her hair is shorter than the other cat, I wondered if the brush would pick it up as well. Bingo! Jackpot! Then I moved onto the sweaters. Again, perfect performance. This brush really does all it says and does it very, very well. I love it so much, I just recently bought four more to stash in my husband's travel bag and all over the house (I have a BIG house). The battle of the cat hair has now been won and I have prevailed! So if any of you are considering one of these, go for it. I think they are a little overpriced, but they worked so well for me I just got over it. Another great benefit is that they are very slim and sleek and tuck easily into handbags, suitcases, etc, unlike the bulky lint rollers. And they don't leave a sticky residue on your clothing like the lint rollers. So that's it; sorry for the long post, I just wanted it to be helpful.
