Soft Purple for Everyday Eye Look

soft-purple-eye-look
I keep promising more quick eye looks, and I fully admit that I’ve had some photography issues. I painted my bathroom blue, so a lot of looks had no really usable pics. So…. I’m still experimenting. Luckily I have a few looks that worked! I’ll share the second look in a few days, but today I’m sharing a look I wore last week while at home with my toddler. This look took only a few minutes.

To create this look, I used the Too Faced Loves Sephora Anniversary Palette. First I used a light wash of Soho, a very pretty lilac all over my lid and a bit over the crease.

I then used Envy, a slightly darker purple, on about 2/3 of my eye. I gently patted it on, I just wanted a little added definition. Next, I used my go-to crease color, Wet ‘n Wild Nutty, in the crease and a little in the outer V of my lid. I then lined both upper and lower lash lines with the Too Faced Perfect Liner in Perfect Black. When I love about this liner is that it is very pigmented and doesn’t budge, but for the first few minutes after you apply it is pretty soft, so you can really smudge it easily! I put a little bit of Envy onto my Sonia Kashuk smudge brush (which I love for its stiffer bristles), and blended out the liner on top and bottom.

I finished it up with 2 coats of Better than Sex Mascara on the top lashes and a coat on the bottom lashes.

I wore this look with a soft lip (I’m pretty sure it was my Too Faced Honey Bear) and a soft blush.

What a pretty look! I love purples too. I haven't tried these colors from Too Faced, but they look lovely!
