Stila Seeing Stars: Perfect for a Stocking!

Stila Seeing Stars review
This holiday season is turning into the year of eye liner for me. I have so many new eye liner sets! I'm like a giddy little school girl when it is time to pick out my eye liner for the day. I'm often using 2 (...or 3...) a day right now. Usually a color, a black and then a second color under my eyes.

Anyways, I'm using a lot of liner. And usually 2 of those liners each day are from this set, so it's the first one I'm sharing with you.

The Stila smudge sticks are little softer than other liners, and they do just what their name says- they are perfect for smudging. I like to like the outer 2/3 or so of my upper lid, with a thicker line at the outer corner. I then smudge it slightly with my finger tip (you need to do this immediately, it sets in about 2 minutes and then smudging is definitely harder). It is super easy and perfect for a little added emphasis/smokiness to an every day look. I like to put a light light of black over the whole lash line afterwards.

So, while taking pictures, I found out that I'm not the wimp I've always assumed. Somehow when opening one of the liner sticks, I broke it. I tried to fix the pencil, but it was pretty much hopeless. You can see here that each liner contains quite of bit of product, especially for such an affordable set.

Now you can see why I'm using these babies so often! I've found that Angelfish is ahhhmazing as an inner eye highlight, and Tetra and Oscar Fish are great for that smudging thing I was talking about. Looking at the swatch picture does make me sad for the Moray that broke. I think I need to pick up a 2nd set, I need that green!
