L'Oreal's Diamonds: Yes, Search for those Empty Displays!

L'Oreal's Diamonds
This collection has been out for a little while, but I've been impeded in my posting by lack of sunlight for picture taking.

Anyways, this L'Oreal special collection is out now, and if your area is anything like mine, you're surrounded by end cap displays that are mostly empty. Well, mine are pretty empty, though at some stores you'll see trends in what is gone. Eye shadows are gone at my Walmart, but there's a lot of polish there. Vice versa at Target. So, with a little driving around you will probably be able to pick up what you want!

And seriously, this collection is worth driving around for.

LOreal Gold Imperial

This is the only one of the shadows that I have currently, though I'll be picking up a few more. I really love the formula of the Infallible shadows. They're well pigmented, can be used loose or as a regular pressed powder (if you push down on it enough) and the shimmer... omg...

The Gold Imperial is a lot like the Laura Mercier holiday shadows. It should be in there with those more expensive shades. Snap one up if you see it!

A new version of Voluminous has been released with this collection. And yes, it really is different. I tried to capture the shimmer on the brush, it's subtle but definitely present when wearing the mascara.

I especially love all of the glosses in this collection! They all have some great shimmer. More than most glosses, but not crazy glittery. Perfect for a holiday party or New Year's Eve. I've been wearing that red a lot.

The polishes are pretty much to die for. I used 2 coats of most of them, 3 of Fancy Me. All of the glitters have about the same amount of glitter, so I do think it is 3-4 thin coats for all of them to reach opaque, but 1-2 coats is a nice scattering of glitter for an accent nail.

Finally, there are some nail stickers with this collection. I like how they show the color that you put underneath (that's L'Oreal Barefoot Babe), and they are pretty easy to apply. However, I'm not usually a nail sticker girl, so any bubbles/errors you see here are my fault!
