Win It! ghd Blue Peacock Flat Iron!

ghd Blue Peacock Flat Iron
Today I'm basically giddy with excitement because I have an amazing giveaway!!! A few years ago I shared my ghd flat iron with you. Since then, it has become my all time favorite flat iron. I'm a girl that gets quite a few flat irons sent to me, and after trying them out I usually give them away. Not this iron!

I have 2 1" ghd flat irons and I really love them. They heat up quickly, are just the right size to use for straightening or curling my hair, and the heat is even. They only have an on/off switch, but that's actually a good thing in my book. When there's a temperature switch I am always turning everything up to maximum heat and frying my hair!

Today, ghd has generously offered to give away one limited edition Blue Peacock flat iron! You can see images of it above. As far as I can tell, this is the same iron that I have, with the exception of color.

Here are the features:
• Ceramic heaters and contoured plates
• Sleep mode
• Protective plate guard
• Embroided Heat Resistant Roll Bag

This iron retails for $225!

Today's contest is open to those in the US and Canada. Be sure to friend the ghd Facebook Page to learn about ghd products and other events like this one!

  1. That is a BEAUTIFUL flat iron!
I normally wear my hair with volume and curl, but I'd be willing to go flat and pin-straight with that iron! :)

  2. I like it straight. I can't perfect the curl and my hair is too short right now to try.

  6. Oh, I love it! My old flat iron is singing its swan song, so it's definitely time for a new one. I usually use it to straighten my hair because I never mastered the art of using a flat iron to create curls.

  7. I use a flat iron but am always looking for a better on that is easier on my hair. I spray oil on first.

  23. I have very long hair and generally, when I use a flatiron, I ike it to be pin straight. However, I am also starting to find that with a good iron, without much effort, you can use the iron to create soft curls in the hair, wrapping the curls into pin wheels, pin them to your head with bobby pins, let them cool to create beautiful soft waves. It depends on my mood which style to wear.

  59. i love to wear my hair straight, i don't know how to curl it with a flat iron yet. :( on the bright side, my hair is wavy, so it's not that hard to curl or straighten once it's trained. it's kinda hard tho, cuz my hair is THICK n wavy. :p

  69. When I do straighten it, I prefer to blow dry it upside down first because it adds so much volume, but I tend to not do this as often as it takes so much time and damages hair... But my dryer and iron are both poor quality, I'm interested in trying something of better quality!
