Win It! Kate Somerville Winter Essentials from Refinery 29

I'm definitely a fan of Kate Somerville. From my beloved ExfoliKate to their gentle and perfect cleansers and moisturizers. Which, I'm realizing as I write this that I somehow haven't written about the Daily Wash or Nourish previously. I've used them both and really loved them! They get the job done, aren't irritating and I think that the Nourish is particularly amazing. It is usually one of my go-to winter every day products for between product testings. It is hydrating but not "too much" for my combination skin. Love it!

Over on Refinery 29 , you can buy a Winter Essentials kit, which is perfect for travel, to try out new products or as a holiday gift.

Included in this set:
•Gentle Daily Wash (4 oz.): a gentle, sulfate-free gel that easily removes makeup and pore-clogging debris.
•Clinic-To-Go Resurfacing Peel Pads (16 pads): a convenient peel that rejuvenates your complexion and reduces the appearance of fine lines and acne scars. This is one of Kate Somerville's best selling products, and I haven't tried them out yet. I've heard they're great!
•Nourish Daily Moisturizer (.5 fluid oz.): a hydrating cream that I love as a daily moisturizer in the winter or as a hydrating night cream in the summer. It has anti-aging ingredients as well.

Refinery 29 has offered to give a Winter Essentials kit to one 15 Minute Beauty Fanatic reader!

  1. Yes I will! This Saturday I have a makeover at Ulta from Tarte - so I'll be buying lots of their stuff. While online shopping at Sephora for Christmas gifts I bought the cream blush stick from Josie Maran in Petal Pink, and the while online shopping at Ulta for Christmas gifts I bought myself the bareMinerals blemish therapy. I haven't bought my usual winter moisturizer, which is Eucerin, but I will this weekend, before going to cold Europe for the holidays.

  12. Am I buying any beauty products for myself for the holidays? I am a beauty and skincare addict and can't help myself but purchase beauty products all year round. I have tried some of Kate Sommerville's products and they are wonderful. But I would love to try more. I particularly love gift sets because generally the products come in deluxe sizes giving you the opportunity to try the product several times to see if it works for your skin before investing in the full size, which can be quite costly. I also like having a variety of products in one set because it feels like I'm getting more for my money. While I love cosmetics, I have a particular interest in skincare for without great skin, no cosmetics will look as good as they could when applied to your skin. This is a wonderful and very generous giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity to possibly win such a FABulous gift. Happy holidays and good luck to all.

  14. I'd love to buy some of the beauty gift sets. Sephora has some great values! After I buy gifts for everyone else, I'm hoping to have some funds left for me...lol. We'll see. I've read many great reviews on the Kate Somerville line. I'd love to try it. Thanks!

  17. Sometimes I buy beauty items for gifts, but not this year. With the baby coming soon I am sticking to gift cards. :) But, typically, if I buy makeup or beauty type gifts I stick to my best friend, mother, niece, and sisters-in-law.

  23. I got myself a ton of things this Christmas. All new items I've never tried before but I wanted to spoil myself so so what right? LOL! I got myself the Sigma Mrs Bunny Vegan Collection brushes, KQX X-Heat Flat Iron, Makeup Forever Professional Paris Mat Velvet foundation, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, some E.L.F's concealer(which I have used before and love especially for $1 each, what a deal), and a ton of other stuff. Yes like I said, I spoiled myself this year w/ a bunch of new items I've never tried before except the concealer b/c it's always on my list of must buy. : )
