This perfume was a big (big? Actually BIG) hit with my husband. He loved it on me. I'm going to be keeping this bottle at the very front of my perfume collection, so I can grab it easily and wear it often.
“The spotlight is always on the one. It’s as if she’s the only woman in the room.”So, did I feel like the one wearing this fragrance? I'm not entirely certain what Domenico and Stefano meant, so maybe? Maybe not? I think it means that the entire focus is on that woman, she is amazing and with it and the center of attention. So, I'm fairly certain that I'm only "The One" for my husband. And he loves this fragrance, so there you go.
“Every woman is the one!”
Top Notes: Sparkling Bergamot, Mandarin Citrus, Lychee, Pear
Middle Notes: Madonna Lily, Muguet (Lily of the Valley), Jasmine
Base Notes: Ripe Plum, Mossy Vetyver, Amber, Musk, Vanilla
This fragrance didn't really have a burn down for me, it stayed consistent after application. There is definitely a nice balance between the Bergamot and Lilies, with a bit of a lily predominance. I can smell a touch of the lychee and pear (almost enough to want to add a fruity to the description), but really they are just there as a fresh, slightly sweet leaning. The whole thing is grounded with the plum and a bit of amber on me.
This scent isn't a straight forward floral, and while the press release called it a "floriental", I think more accurate would be Floriental. This is a quiet and sophisticated floral with just enough of an oriental twist to keep it from being boring or too pedestrian. This fragrance is pretty much perfect for any occasion, I think it would be a great holiday gift!
