I love the idea of a gift that keeps on giving, though it can be hard to find a good "of the month" club. This is the first nail polish club that I'm aware of, and I'm really excited about it!
Julep is a nail brand out of Seattle, where they have a few exclusive nail salons. I've featured the brand before, though most of what you need to know is in my wear test post. I think the polish applies well, they have some very pretty colors and it wears very well. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit expensive. The new Maven Club will cut the cost and even get you polish colors before they have been released. I know. This is a nail gal's dream come true!
I was sent a shipment of Maven to try out for review. You can see what I received above, 2 very pretty polishes and a full sized Facial for Hands Glycolic Scrub (this was a Boho Glam box). I really loved the scrub, it has a good amount of grit, smelled great and my hands did feel smoother afterwards. I followed it up with a great hand lotion (it was from 80 Acres), but I can't wait to use this with my paraffin hand wax!
Drew is amazing. I have a huge collection of bright pinks, hot pinks, berry toned pinks. I have shimmers, cremes, glitters... seriously, a lot of pinks. I don't have a pink quite like this one. And, it applied like a dream. This swatch is 1 coat. Seriously.
I probably have as many purples as I do pinks, and again this one is unique in my collection. I love this greyed purple, it is perfect for fall. It did take 3 thin coats to reach opaque.
If you want to sign up (or maybe buy this as a holiday gift, hint hint!), you can use this code to receive your first month's box for only $5!
