Smashbox Spring 2011: In BloomSaturday, February 12, 2011
Have you seen the spring collection by Smashbox? I had to feature it because not only is it pretty, but check out the eye shadow palette! (Click image above to enlarge) Doesn't it look full of universally flattering neutral colors that you could use nearly every day?
In this collection:
In Bloom Eye Shadow Palette $48
• ballet pink
• lavender grey
• golden pink
• warm taupe
• soft violet
• marine blue
• shimmering copper
A mix of shimmers and mattes, I love the look of this palette!
Creamy Cheek Duo $26
• Blushing/Peony: soft pink/bright pink
Yes, it looks bright in the picture, but Smashbox promises that these blushes are actually translucent and pretty.
Soft Focus Powder Eye Liner $22
• heather grey
• dark brown
Using a powder as eye liner is nothing new (I do it nearly every day), but I love the packaging here. They look like liquid liners, but instead it is powder made more convenient to use as liner. Great for a subtle smokey eye.
Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss $21
• Timeless (soft pink)
• Endless Kiss(coral pink)
Artificial Light Powder $20
This was recently featured over on Scrangie's site, and it does look pretty great. A very subtle but effective highlighter (at least for those of us with light skin tones). After the eye shadow palette, this is the item I'm most likely to be picking up.
