Weekend Links and ReadsSunday, April 04, 2010
I thought I'd share a few great links with everyone to keep you busy on this Easter Sunday. Remember, eat the ears first!
Nancy at Beauty 411 tried out the Make Up Forever HD Microfinish Blush that I've been lemming. It sounds amazing from what Nancy says, and that woman is very straight forward. Rushing to Sephora yet?
Michelle at All Lacquered Up checked out Essie's Resort Collection, including comparison swatch pictures! I'm thinking of picking up Playa Del Platinum and Spalsh of Grenadine.
Monique at Beauty Girl Musings tried out Illamasqua and you need to go check out the pics! The blush is such a pretty color and I love the gun metal grey nail polish she tried out.
Tammy at A Mom in Red High Heels showed off a low, side fishtail from the Levi's Fall 2010 presentation which I may need to turn into my summer go-to hair style.
Laurie at Product Girl tried out the Estée Lauder Double Wear Lipstick and had great wear all day!
Pantene is holding a Hair Reality Star Contest. You only have until April 18th to enter.
Darphin is celebrating the release of their new face cream, Hydraskin Essential, which I've heard described as an incredibly moisturizing cream for only $50 (amazing when you consider most brands in their "range" are competing to come out with the most expensive cream). When you share your favorite $50 luxury at 50 Little Luxuries they'll make a donation to the IDEAL Providence Farms to purchase school supplies for children in Ghana (these are the children of the women harvesting the Organic Shea Butter in Hydraskin Essential as part of Darphin’s efforts to support the community. The 50 most creative will win the cream and a grand prize winner will get a NYC Spa Getaway for two.
In celebration of Earth Month 2010 and Origins Earth Initiatives which support programs that help to sustain the planet, Origins will host its first annual Origins Rocks Earth Month Concert in NYC on April 19th. The concert will feature Macy Gray and will be at Webster Hall New York City located in Downtown Manhattan. One free concert ticket will be offered to those who bring at least one empty cosmetic package, regardless of brand, to Origins retail stores in NYC, Westchester and the Garden State Plaza Mall (no purchase necessary, while tickets last.) Ticket holders must arrive at Webster Hall New York City for first come first serve entry.
