ROC Brilliance Eye Beautifier: Shock Some Collagen Back Into Your Skin!
In today's edition of bioelectricity skin care reviews, I bring you a great eye cream. I've already shared the science behind Johnson & Johnson's new bioelectricity Anti-Aging products.
I have to admit that eye creams are something that I've been finding to be more and more important lately. While I don't have any crow's feet yet, I have to admit that I'm becoming obsessed with keeping them away. I apply eye cream twice a day. I use sunscreen every day. If there's even a chance of squinting when I'm outside, I put on giant sunglasses (ok, that is nothing new, I hate squinting because it gives me a headache).
Just like the other products by J&J featuring bioelectricty, the first step to using this product is to apply the "Biomineral Concentrate" to areas of concern, in this case my eye area.
The Biomineral concentrate (called Eye Activating Serum by ROC) has a light blue/grey color (it reminds me of a blueberry), and you can see looking at the picture that the Step 1 product for each of the brands looks identical (they all have the same ingredients, they truly are the same), so just use whatever Step 1 product you want without worrying about mixing up the brands.
Step 1 has silicone in it, allowing it to apply very smoothly wherever you apply it. It sinks into skin immediately without leaving any residual texture on the skin. Even on my pale skin you could not see the color of Step 1, it was invisible on my skin.
Step 2 here is a simple white, unscented lotion that comes out of a pump. 1 pump is the perfect amount for both undereye areas. The lotion is silky, sinks in pretty much immediately and leaves no residual stickiness behind. This product contains a lot of emollient moisturizers, and a humectant rather than occlusives (read about those in my moisturizer post), which helps a lot when it comes to makeup application over a product.
After a few weeks of using this product, I can definitely say it's a product that I would buy again. My eye area was really well moisturized, makeup application over it was great and I really think it made my concealer apply more evenly. I don't have any wrinkles in this area (yet), but I do have issues with under eye circles. I think this did help some with those, as the area was well moisturized and appeared more "full." That can only be a good thing.
According to the clinical results ROC shared with me, women did notice a difference with this product. They had 35 women with eye area issues apply this product for 8 weeks. The women noticed immediate improvement in things like Crow's Feet, undereye bags and circles, transparent skin and upper eyelid puffiness.
