How to Create a Smoky Eye

smoky eye
I love quick and easy tutorials! Recently the folks over at EcoTools (a line of environmentally friendly cosmetic brushes) created a great series of tutorials using their brushes. I loved how simple they made looks like the smoky eye, so I thought that I'd share them with you!

EcoTools are available at massmarket retailers like Walmart, Target and ULTA. The 6 piece eye brush set used here is available at if you are like me and need immediate shopping satisfaction.

Disclosure: I once received a free set of brushes from EcoTools. You can read my EcoTools brush review to see how I liked them.

Hi, just found your blog. I love the ecotools brushes as well!! The kabuki is softer than M.A.C's. And I love love love the blending (round) brush. Absolute best to fade the lines, and yes, smokey eyes.

Thanks for this excellent post. The video quality is superb and it is very well explained. Stunning contours and beautiful depth ... very Cameron Diaz.

I love comments! Please ask away, provide info on how you liked something, etc. Note that spam, comments with random links (which I count as spam), anything not in english (again, spam) and comments that are completely unrelated to anything will all be deleted.
