Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 LookSunday, September 20, 2009
The look for Spring 2010 at Proenza Schouler was definitely inspired by Southern California. Think surfer girl (or maybe a skater girl), with slightly windblown tousled hair, a faint tan glow to the skin and natural makeup. Over all it's a look that many of us likely wear every weekend to varying degrees.
"Boys surfing and skateboarding. Raw and boyish makeup - brown eyebrows and tan skin."
-Diane Kendal, Artist for MAC
Dark brown cream colour base is blended into the crease and under the eye to define and sculpt the eye, blend through the eyebrow area even. A light lining with eye pencil (for a "lingering" effect), lashes were left purposefully bare without mascara.
Face and Body foundation is applied with a 180 Brush for a natural finish. Warm soul mineralized blush is brushed onto the center of the cheeks for a sunburned look.
Lip balm applied and then blotted off.
Inspired by the California surfer girl, beachy tousled waves were the look.
