Jan Marini's Marini Lash Conditioner, Week 1!

There's been all sorts of turmoil in the last few years about eye lash conditioners. I'm not going to recap it all here, but I will say that last week the FDA approved Allergan's new product, which really was the glaucoma drug previously found in several over the counter lash conditioners, including a Jan Marini product. The ingredient will be only available in the Allergan version, forcing other companies to reformulate their products.

Honestly, I wasn't too keen on ever using a glaucoma drug to grow my eyelashes. Get too much on your eyes, in theory your eye sight could be affected. So, I was curious about the reformulated products.

I now have a tube of Marini Lash of my own, and I'll be using it every night! I plan to update with pictures every few weeks, you can judge my results for yourself. The company states it takes 6-8 weeks before you'll see a difference. In the meantime, here's my beginning picture.

All of these pictures will be my eyes completely sans makeup (easier to judge without eyeliner and such in the way), so be kind in your comments about my results! It's not easy to put pictures of yourself like this up on the internet, though I will point out that I'm still really happy that at 31 I have no crow's feet!

i was concerned about the side effects of that glaucoma medication too, so i opted for one of the new eyelash-growth products that DOESN'T contain it. it's called Lashem. no irritation whatsoever, and it SEEMS to be working....

I love comments! Please ask away, provide info on how you liked something, etc. Note that spam, comments with random links (which I count as spam), anything not in english (again, spam) and comments that are completely unrelated to anything will all be deleted.
