Harajuku Lovers: BABY "Girlie and Sweet!"Thursday, October 09, 2008
Take a good look at that cute bottle. Because my bottle doesn't look like that anymore! Believe it or not, while I was testing this fragrance, my dog (a very curious and cute husky) decided that the Harajuku girls were for him. He rooted through my bag, and took Baby out of her box. The box he put in his puppy basket (aka- basket full of many dog toys), Baby ended up being chewed and then hidden in the living room! She's just a bit dented and full of fur. But, whenever he sees her it's obvious that he wants to steal her back. So, note to Gwen: Please make Harajuku squeek toys for dogs!
As much as I like the other fragrances, this is likely the fragrance of the bunch that is the most versatile. The floral notes are definitely prominent, but unlike most Bergamot fragrances the most prominent note is actually something else! Amazing, I know. On me the most prominent note is the White Rose, with a bit of the Jasmine Petals close behind.
It's a slightly powdery floral that seems as if it would fit into almost any situation. Work? Check. Interview? Check. Dinner with friends? Yup.
So, I think that maybe we should all take a note from my husky, this might just be the pick of the bunch!
Top Notes: Freesia, Bergamot, White Rose
Middle Notes: Orange Flower, Tiare Flower, Jasmine Petals
Bottom Notes: White Musk, Soft Woods, Heliotrope, Vanilla, Violet
Available at Sephora and most major department stores.
