Flower by Kenzo: Winter Flowers, A Perfect Way to Welcome the Snow!Friday, September 26, 2008
Snow??? Why am I talking about snow? A few reasons really. First, I live in So Cal, and I have my AC on, so I'm definitely craving some fall. Second, I'm moving back to the Midwest in a short while (yup, it's true!) and all this talk of the midwest around here lately has made me especially crave the Fall and Big Ten football Saturdays. Third, it's highly possible that the midwest will get their first snow in the next month or so.
So, that is perfect timing to pick up this new limited edition from Kenzo in October for the first snow. I know I'll be celebrating snow this time next year, I need to get ready!
I love, love, love the powdery floral scent of this limited edition. It is a light floral with a strong base in my recently discovered love Violet note, but the vanilla base note is actually absolute vanilla, which is definitely powdery in tone.
Top Notes: Mandarin, Violet Leaf
Middle Notes: Cameillia, Hellebore Rose
Base Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla
This is a light fragrance that certainly is not at all overpowering and can be easily worn every day. It is a more "cool" fragrance, which I found to be very refreshing after some of the "warmer" fragrances coming out for fall that I've been trying. For some reason this fragrance makes me think of riding in a sleigh over snow. Really, I know I'm crazy, but this really is the ultimate welcome to winter scent!
Available at Sephora in October, 1.7 ounces $65
