Father's Day Gifts: Jessica's Gentlemen's ClubWednesday, June 11, 2008
I know that the name "Gentleman's Club" brings to mind dark locations filled with smoke and women removing their clothes. Well, maybe it just makes me think of that. But, I'm suggesting a much different Gentleman's Club.
Men are sometimes a bit funny to me. They like to have groomed nails and cuticles, but they can't be "too into" the whole process. I think this strikes me as funny given my obsession with nail polish. Well, since I doubt that the most men are not about to walk into the nearest nail salon to get a manicure, here's a great at home option for them!
• 2 oz (59 mL) Smoothe Moves Hand Conditioner
• 1/2 oz (14.8 mL) Scrub Away Hand & Nail Exfoliator
• 1/2 oz (14.8 mL) Matte 4 Men Treatment
• 1/2 oz (14.8 mL) Buff Cuticle Gel
If the guy in your life protests a bit you can tell him about a friend of mine from college. I went to a Big 10 school very well known for football (if you've been paying attention to my blog you likely know where I went). My sophomore year the guy next door to me in the dorms was on the football team. He's since played on several NFL teams, has his own show on ESPN 2 and even has his own bow tie line. He was on the cover of Essence last year. In college his grandmother was sending him bright nailpolishes (blue, green, and his favorite orange) which he wore on his toes for good luck! He was especially happy one day when she sent him such a bright orange that it perfectly matched his spring coat! I'm not naming names, but he is still playing, is very smart and is one of the sweetest guys I knew in college.
