Bond No. 9 Coney Island

Bond Fragrance, Bond Review, Perfume, Perfume Review

Bond, Fragrance, Coney IslandThe first week of summer is the perfect time to try out this fragrance, which Bond describes as bottled fun. Really, when most of us think of Coney Island chances are we're thinking of a carnival atmosphere: a ferris wheel, hot dogs and cotton candy not to mention face painting and balloon animals. A quick peek at the notes tells the story.

Top Notes: Margarita, Melon, Guava
Middle Notes: Cinnamon, Chocolate, Caramel
Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Sandalwood

Doesn't that list just look like that carnival we were picturing? Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla and Margarita??? Where did Bond find a Margarita note?

This is an interesting fragrance. Initially on me this is very fruity with the Guava and Melon notes very prominent. As well, the musk note pronounced. Over time the fruit notes and musk fade away with the Cedarwood and a bit of the Cinnamon coming out. It becomes a deeper, warmer fragrance. I've heard that many have prominent chocolate and caramel notes at the beginning, but this is not the case with my skin chemistry.

Overall, this is a fun fragrance that lasts all day. Perfect for the beginning of summer!
