Argan Body's Aromatic Dead Sea Collection Part 2 Review

Argan Body Body lotion
Once again today I'm telling you all about Argan Body's Dead Sea Collection! This collection transported me to a spa, really it didn't seem like I should be using this in my own bathroom! The products are all scented with lavender and a bit of citrus which I absolutely love!

Argan Body Shower Gel
The shower gel is pretty good. This gel has a nice lather (which we all know means nothing about cleaning power, but I like lather), it definitely cleans and it rinses off easily. It is a bit more heavy duty than my normal Dove Shower Gel with less moisturizing power. This would be a great option for someone with more oily skin.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine Mea Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, Sea Salt (Maris Sal / Dead Sea Salt), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, C-12-13 Pareth-4, Propylene Glycol, Dmdm Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl utylcarbamate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavander) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange Flower) Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary)Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit

Argan Body Body Scrub
I love this scrub! It has a very light lather, and it leaves no greasy residue so it should be just fine for use before sunless tanning. I would recommend only using it on your body (the grit is too large for facial use), but the sand (used as "grit" in this scrub) is small and fairly uniform is shape. I especially loved the scent! (can you tell that I loved the scent of these products?)

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Nylon-6, Sand, Polysorbate-20, Triethanolamine, Acrylates/C 10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carboxymethyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben

Argan Body Bath Milk
This product is similar to the body lotion in feel and use, though it can also be used in your bath! It is a nice light, silky lotion to use for right afterwards as well, sealing in any moisture.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Vegetable Oil (Olus),C-12-13 Pareth-4, Fragrance, C-13-14 Isoparaffin, Isostearyl Isostearate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Polyacrylamide, Polysorbate-60, Dimethicone, Dmdm Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavander) Oil, Sea Salt (Maris Sal / Dead Sea Salt), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange Flower) Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary) Oil

  1. I use these products also and love the fragrance of the lavender in the morning. It just motivates me to get in the shower and start the day. Unfortunately, I'm finding that the older I get, the longer I take to get going in the morning (and I don't like it.) But there's something about that fragrance with the lavender and citrus that gets me going. I'm so grateful to have found these products. They are what I call the "little pleasures" of life. The shampoo is wonderful also.

  2. Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I saw your beloved Olay Complete body was at a Big Lots! store in Denver this weekend. Maybe you could find it in SoCal?!

  3. Maria- I love the scent as well!

Anon- That is fantastic news! Thanks so much for the heads up! I haven't quite figured out how, but somehow Big Lots sometimes does have very similar products nationwide. I'll have to check it out this weekend!

  4. I love the scent, too, but I also appreciate that the products work! I have gone through so many natural products that leave my hair and face either too dry or more oily than before washed. These work, smell great, and are in pretty blue bottles.

  5. I love love love Argan Body! I've used the entire Dead Sea line for just over a year, and I completely agree-- these products make you feel like the spa followed you home. My absolute fave is the hand lotion. If you haven't tried it yet, you must!
