Tarte's Enbritenmint

Yes, that really is what you think it is: a dual ended wand with lip gloss and BriteSmile's To Go Whitener! Quite frankly when I first heard about this, I would never have thought about combining tooth whitener and lip gloss.

After trying it out, I have to say that this is a pretty cool product. The lip gloss is very similar to Tarte's other glosses, infused with the fruits goji, acai, maracuja, acerola and pomegranate which offer vitamins and anti-oxidants. The lipgloss is very shiny, long lasting and not at all sticky. The colors (pearly pink and radiant red) were formulated to make your smile look brighter, which I think really does work! In particular I love pearly pink, a light pink color with great shimmer.

I waited a week or so before trying out the BriteSmile side (I waited until after my dental appointment, I figured that whitening my tartar build up was not very helpful). It was pretty easy to use. I simply brushed it on to my teeth, where it formed a thick film over my teeth. You simply don't need to do anything else. Just don't eat or drink for 30 minutes, the gel has a great minty taste.

With daily use the wand is meant to last about 30-45 days for the tooth whitener, the gloss would likely last about that long as well unless you apply it every 30 minutes or so.

  1. I'm glad to hear this product doesn't suck! It is Tarte afterall, and I generally love any Tarte products.

I just ordered it a few days ago - in the pearly pink as well.
