Spring and Summer Pedicure Trends from Butterfly StudioThursday, May 08, 2008
Butterfly Studio's manicurist, Neri Ortega has some great tips to make your pedicure look as professional as possible this summer!
"Clients have been asking for a toe nail shape that is squared but rounded at the corners, not too long. The popular nail colors for Spring are lavenders, pinks and peaches. If you're going on vacation to some place warm like the beach a coral shade is always hot!"
"We like to use our own homemade exfoliant which consists of brown sugar, organic coconut oil, rosemary, and lemongrass essential oil. The sugar scrub is always a better exfoliator for hands and toes because it is much more hydrating (salt scrubs can cause dryness for nails). The sugar scrub is also great for sensitive skin and keeps and hands and feet silky smooth
and smells great"
