Lancôme's Brazilian Earth Colors by Daria

What happens when a Lancôme spokesmodel finds a great charity that she wants to support? Well, if you are Daria Werbowy you get Lancôme to design a mini-collection and then sell it at Sephora for you!

The program that Daria fell in love with is Centro Espacial Vik Muniz, a group that supports arts education programs for young adults in Rio de Janeiro.

The limited edition collection was based upon neutral colors that remind Daria of the earth tones she saw in Brazil.

The Daria Collection includes the following new products: Color Fever Lipstick in Beige Caracaï, $26.00, Color Fever Gloss in Nude Prainha, $24.00, Color Design Eye Shadow Quad in Carnet de Velours, $45.00

Available exclusively at Sephora, the Lancôme boutiques and

  1. I want this collection! I think it's so gorgeous.

  3. Hi, I have a question for you :
Doesn't constantly using so many products have a toll on your skin ? Maybe you don't see it instantly, but what if you end up causing damage in the long run ? You only know as much about the possible side effects as have already been found out - what about the confusion caused because of so many different products in such a short amount of time?

  4. Well, the products don't change the basic physiology of the skin. The skin can't get confused by products and start acting improperly. It can have issues with products causing clogged pores or irritation, but some of these issues need time to sort themselves out. Really, the skin itself will go back to the way it was after stopping a topical product. This isn't necessarily the case with a systemic medication such as Accutane, but I'm not a derm so I'm not going to get into that.

I personally try to test all skin care products for at least 2-3 weeks in order to start seeing results and to truly see how the products make my skin react before I post a review here if that helps.

  5. Hi again,
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading your blog. I was wondering about the effects of 'products', so to say, because I myself use a bare minimum amount of makeup and usually just apply pure sandal wood or neem paste to my face, seems to clear up, moisturize, brighten and soften the skin all at the same time.
But it might be because I tend to lean more towards herbal cosmetology as opposed to most of the commercial products, considering that I am such a cynic that unless I test the products myself in a lab, I won't touch it :)

Nonetheless, I love your blog - its interesting to see what people use, and why.

  6. These are so earthyly gorgeous! Thanks for sharing this with us :)
